2 San Jose men arrested after joyriding in stolen vehicle: police

(KRON) -- Two San Jose residents were arrested after possessing a stolen vehicle, according to the Benicia Police Department.
An individual alerted Benicia PD dispatch that their car was stolen out of San Jose and the GPS showed the vehicle was near Warwick Drive and Clearview Circle in Benicia on Wednesday.
Officers located the vehicle in a residential parking lot in the area. Police said they saw two men get out of the car and begin to walk away.
The suspects were identified as Eddie Bara Jr., 32, and 52-year-old Ivan Isreal Villasenomarquez.
Benicia PD said while detaining the duo, officers found a controlled substance on Villasenomarquez. Police also learned Bara Jr. had five outstanding felony warrants for his arrest from various counties.

Both were arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail.
Bara Jr. was charged with resisting arrest and charges for his warrants. Villasenomarquez was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, vehicle theft and possession of a controlled substance.
The vehicle and the stolen property were returned to its owner.
