Update: Be prepared for heavy snow in Central NY Friday evening

The National Weather Service issued an updated report at 6:37 p.m. on Friday for heavy snow until 7:30 p.m. for Cayuga, Onondaga, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties."At 6:36 p.m., an area of heavy snow was near Scott, or near Cortland moving east at 20 MPH," according to the weather service.
