'Christmas by Candlelight' returns to Old Sturbridge Village for the holiday season

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) - Old Sturbridge Village is ushering in the holiday season with the return of 'Christmas by Candlelight,' a tradition that transforms the historic village into a winter wonderland.
Starting Friday, November 29, visitors will be immersed in a magical atmosphere featuring Christmas trees, hundreds of glowing candles, a heartwarming lighting ceremony, and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event runs on select dates through December 30, offering a unique way to celebrate the season.
A highlight of this year's festivities is the debut of Upon a Midnight Clear: An Acoustic New England Christmas, a special musical performance that delves into the history of beloved Christmas carols.
Attendees can also enjoy performances by local artists, create holiday crafts, and marvel at the displays by the Worcester Model Railroaders.
