PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence crews knocked down a fire at a multi-family home in the area of Monticello Street Friday afternoon. Fire Chief Derek Silva said three people are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries including one firefighter. MORE: Red cross helping 2 after fire in Smithfield Crews were able to rescue some pets from the home, but a few animals died. According to Silva, there were more than 50 firefighters at the scene.
