Fresh cut Christmas trees go on sale at Cheyenne Mountain State Park

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Cheyenne Mountain State Park will once again feature Santa's Elves offering Christmas trees for sale.
The event is run by Friends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park and sells trees of all sizes for $65. The trees will be sold at the Cheyenne Mountain State Park Visitor Center Parking lot located at 410 JL Ranch Heights.
The trees will be sold on five days in late November and early December:
Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park said cash is preferred but credit cards are accepted. Trees are expected to go fast since tree prices are favorable. The trees will be cut to your specification and help will be available for loading the tree onto your vehicle.
The trees are cut as part of the fire mitigation program at Cheyenne Mountain State Park.
