(KSNW) -- Illuminations at Botanica begins at 5:30 p.m. The annual holiday event at Wichita’s botanical gardens began back in 1990 with just luminaries, has grown to include more than 2 million christmas lights, including choreographed light shows set to music. Illuminations at Botanica is again in the running for USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice Awards for Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights for 2024. You can vote for them daily. Wichita family waits for heart transplant for 2-year-old Illuminations runs from now through Jan. 4. with ticket times available for 5:30 p.m., 6:30 PM, 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m..
