A “Chill” Week, Weatherwise
Nov 29, 2024
Happy Friday, everyone! Hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, despite the rain. That said, the wet weather yesterday is helpful in terms of drought conditions around New England.
Today (Friday), is a relatively quiet follow-up to a bustling holiday forecast. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s– sliiightly below where they should be this time of year. We’ll be mostly sunny for most of the day. However, a little extra energy in the atmosphere could spark a sprinkle or two early this evening. It won’t be evening-ruining weather; just a few drips and drops.
Overnight, clouds clear and lows fall to the mid and upper 20s. This is the start of a much, much cooler trend in temperatures. We’ll be in the low 40s Saturday with a mix of sun & clouds. Similar to Friday, a quick sprinkle in the evening isn’t out of the question.
Sunday is even cooler, with high temperatures in the upper 30s and a few spots trying to squeak out 40 degrees. On the (literal) bright side, we’ll have plenty of sun! That pattern will continue through Wednesday.
