A 29-year-old woman died in a single vehicle crash Thursday morning (Nov. 28, 2024) six miles south of Wagner. The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members. Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2012 Dodge Charger had entered the west ditch near 395th Avenue and 305th Street, vaulted over the culvert, and rolled. The driver was ejected and suffered fatal injuries from the crash. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary. The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
