Like many, they lost their home and all other belongings. Dad and Mom, who was pregnant at the time, and their two children stayed with extended family but the home became a refuge for "16" loved ones.

To help ease the strain, Mom and her father, who had lived with them in Lahaina, moved out for the time being to give the children and others more space.
They are grateful for the love and support of their family and community. They are determined to rebuild their home and their lives.
Their baby is a little boy and could use size three to four diapers, books, educational toys and he's fascinated by dogs.
Their six-year-old son is homeschooled. He loves crafts, reading, legos, the outdoors and soccer. An ABC Mouse membership would be wonderful for him.
Their eight-year-old daughter, who is also homeschooled, also loves crafts and reading. She likes slime, nail polish, hair accessories and a membership in the "Adventure Academy" would be wonderful for her.
Since Mom homeschools, a used desktop or laptop computer would be very much appreciated, as well as workbooks and other teaching tools.
She could also use toiletries and items for the kitchen like pots, pans, dishes and the like.
Dad could use toiletries and would love something the family can do together like games, movie tickets and the like.
In the spirit of laulima, our many hands working together, let's help this family who lost so much, but are trying to stay positive and move forward.
