Upon hearing several shots at around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday in the 1500 block of West Cucharras, multiple officers responded to assist and were also supplemented by CSPD tactical personnel.
An open-air barricade began with one suspect, traffic control points were set up, and a shelter-in-place was issued. Officers assisted some nearby residents with evacuations.
CSPD told FOX21 News a drunk man had fired a shot into the air, however, there were no known injuries to anyone.
