It was a chillier day across the state with a few lingering rain and snow showers. Skies have since cleared for much of the region. As we head overnight, clouds will slowly move in from the west continuing into the day tomorrow.
It will be a cold morning across New Mexico Friday, with highs in the afternoon staying near or slightly cooler than average. A warming trend will begin Saturday that will continue into next week, but we are entering a very quiet next several days of weather across the state. Temperatures will be on a slow warming trend, with winds staying mostly light and skies staying partly sunny with no chances for precipitation through at least the middle of next week.
