ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – More than 100 seniors in the metro were able to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. On Thursday, the Department of Seniors Affairs hosted its annual Thanksgiving luncheon at the North Valley Senior Center. The luncheon was an opportunity for community members to share food and friendship. Nearly 2,000 people take off for Albuquerque’s 2024 Turkey Trot Most importantly, the event gave the youth and seniors the chance to connect. The department said nearly 150 guests attended the event, which has become a cherished tradition for the senior affairs.
