MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security (OEHMS) said on Thursday that an Extreme Cold Alert would go into effect Friday. OEHMS posted on the X platform that the alert would be in place from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. DC News Now Weather Forecast The post noted that Montgomery County issues an Extreme Cold Alert when it expets that temperatures and/or wind chill values at 32 degrees or below 32 degrees.
