(KRON) -- A teenage passenger in a vehicle that was allegedly stolen was killed in a crash Thursday morning in the midst of a pursuit involving Santa Clara County Sheriff's deputies. According to officials, deputies saw a white Hyundai Elantra in the area of S. De Anza Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino at around 3:07 a.m. Deputies determined the vehicle was an unreported stolen vehicle out of San Jose. One of the occupants, officials said, was wearing a face mask and hooded sweaters. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle. However, the driver failed to comply, leading deputies on a pursuit. 3 dead after fiery Cybertruck crash in Piedmont The chase ended in Saratoga when the Hyundai's driver crashed into a tree in the area of Saratoga Los Gatos Road and Via Colina. The driver, according to officials, ran from the crash and was detained a short while later. A male passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver and two female passengers were taken to local hospitals. One passenger is in stable condition, according to law enforcement. Two others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. All four were juveniles. An unloaded firearm magazine was also located nearby. Upon release from the hospital, the driver will be booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall and charged with: Vehicular manslaughter Felony evading Possession of a stolen vehicle Possession of stolen property Possession of burglary tools Misappropriation of lost/stolen property Resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer Investigators with the Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Specialist (STARS) Team remained on the scene Thursday investigating. The following roads will be closed to traffic while the investigation is underway: Southbound Saratoga Los Gatos Road at Via Colina Northbound Saratoga Los Gatos Road at El Camino Grande in Saratoga The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office was notified but the identity of the decedent will not be released until next of kin is notified, according to officials.
