The Detroit Lions (10-1) will take on the Chicago Bears (4-7) in Week 13 on Thanksgiving Day in downtown Detroit. The Lions have not won on Turkey Day since 2016, but they are more concerned with securing a win against a division opponent and keeping things positive heading into a couple of days off with family. “Well, I think there’s two things,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said of securing a win on Thanksgiving. “Number one, get a W, right? And it’s a division win that’s why this is huge. Number two is because the players are going to get a couple of days off. So, they have family (and) friends in, it’d be nice to feel good about it when you’re with everybody because it’s just not really fun (if you lose). [...] So we all want it. It is long overdue, but we have to win to win.” Here’s a look at our Pride of Detroit staff picks for the Lions in Week 13: Hamza Baccouche (10-1): Lions 24-21 Morgan Cannon (10-1): Lions 27-16 (Video: Scout the Opponent) Brandon Knapp (10-1): Lions 28-20 (Scouting report, X factor) Jeremy Reisman (10-1): Lions 34-17 (On Paper) Kellie Rowe (10-1): Lions 30-20 Erik Schlitt (10-1): Lions 31-17 (Scheme breakdowns, Honolulu Blueprint) Meko Scott (10-1): Lions 24-13 (Video: Scout the Opponent) Max Gerber (9-2): Lions 17-14 Al Karsten (9-2): Lions 31-17 Jerry Mallory (9-2): Lions 30-20 Ryan Mathews (9-2): Lions 24-17 (5 Questions) Alex Reno (9-2): Lions 24-18 Ty Schalter (9-2): Lions 23-16 John Whiticar (9-2): Lions 34-20 Zac Snyder (7-4): Lions 30-26 Chris Perfett (0-1-9): 34-34 Tie For the rest of our staff NFL picks, be sure to check out our Week 13 predictions: Moneyline, spread, and over/under (coming soon).
