CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Many organizations across western Massachusetts are serving meals this Thanksgiving for the less fortunate. Organization in western Massachusetts helping victims of domestic violence Inside the kitchen at the Knights of Columbus, volunteers are preparing the food for the Thanksgiving dinner.  This is the 47th year of the dinner, continuing to make a return from being closed during the pandemic with last year the first year back. This year, approximately 2,500 meals will be delivered across the area with another thousand meals served in the hall, all at no cost. The dining room will be open from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday for the Thanksgiving dinner. They will also be delivering meals to those who can't leave their home on Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
