(WPRI) — Between 7 p.m. on Wednesday and 3 a.m. on Thursday, the Rhode Island DUI Task Force says it arrested 24 people for alcohol-related offenses. BACKGROUND: RI DUI Task Force ramping up patrols ahead of Thanksgiving The task force is made up of members from local police departments, Rhode Island State Police, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation's Office of Highway Safety and the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office.
