(WANE) - Northeast Indiana football fans have a full course of high school football to wrap up Thanksgiving weekend. For the first time in the Highlight Zone's 30-year history, four local teams are marching to Lucas Oil Stadium for the IHSAA State Finals. In Class 5A, Warsaw is riding a dream season to their first appearance in the state finals. The Tigers are coming off a 31-14 win over Merrillville in their first semi-state appearance. Led by quarterback Drew Sullivan, the Tigers look to pull off one more upset against No. 4 Decatur Central on Saturday at 7 p.m. East Noble is making their first appearance in the state finals since 2019. With first-year head coach Alex Stewart taking the reins from Luke Amstutz, the Knights haven't missed a beat. East Noble relies on a balanced attack from running backs Dylan Krehl and Dallas Plattner, along with quarterback Rylee Biddle. On defense, Krehl, Biddle and Pace Agee anchor a unit that is allowing 10.3 points per game. East Noble looks to knock off No. 1 New Palestine on Friday at 3 p.m. Bishop Luers is no stranger to winning state titles, but the Knights made program history by earning their first 3A semi-state championship last week. After an uneven regular season, the Knights are playing their best football at the most important time of the year. Led by playmakers Daryea Williams, Dee Hogue and Daveon Surry, Bishop Luers looks to bring home back-to-back state titles against No. 2 Heritage Hills on Saturday at 3 p.m. In Class 2A, Adams Central is making their fourth straight appearance in the state finals. After finishing as state runner-up the past three years, the Jets face a different foe with Linton coming to Lucas Oil Stadium. The Miners toppled Indianapolis Lutheran, who defeated Adams Central the past three years, in the semi-state round. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday.
