FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - In preparation for Thanksgiving, students around Fort Wayne participated in holiday-themed activities, from volunteering to parades and even turkey impersonations. Weisser Park Elementary School held a Thanksgiving parade on Tuesday that Macy's would envy. The theme, “Balloons above Broadway,” allowed fourth-grade STEAM students to work together and build floats that represented local businesses and landmarks. Superintendent Dr. Mark Daniel served as the grand marshal.
