FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The coroner's office has identified the passenger who died after flying off a Fresno overpass on Tuesday. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 47-year-old Sokhoeun Sem Long, of Fresno. On Tuesday, around 5:30 a.m., CHP says they received a call regarding a crash on Highway 41 under the Highway 180 overpass. On scene, CHP say they found a 2017 Toyota Tundra within the center median of north and southbound State Route 41. The driver was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries; but Sem Long, the passenger, was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigation revealed that the Toyota was traveling west on Highway 180 on the overpass above Highway 41. Amid heavy rain, the driver lost control and veered to the left, crashing through the concrete guardrail before becoming airborne and falling 25 to 30 feet onto Highway 41.
