Arrest made in shooting of pregnant woman in SF’s Bayview district

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a pregnant woman in San Francisco's Bayview district last week, the San Francisco Police Department announced. On Tuesday, Nov. 19, SFPD officers from the Bayview Station responded to the 1100 block of Hollister Avenue on a report of a shooting.
At the scene, officers found a pregnant woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers rendered aid before medics transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. According to police, investigators determined the suspect shot the woman while she was inside her residence with her daughter and other occupants.
One person rescued from SF Bay after falling off Pier 45
An investigation launched by officers with the SFPD Crime Violent Reduction Team (CVRT) identified the suspect as Khriri Roberson, a 30-year-old man. Investigators developed probable cause to obtain a search warrant for Roberson's residence.
On Thursday, Nov. 21, at around 4 p.m., CVRT officers located Roberson and arrested him near South Mayfair Avenue and Park Plaza Drive in Daly City. Investigators also responded to his residence on the 200 block of South Mayfair Avenue in Daly City and served a search warrant.
During the search, officers seized evidence, including a firearm. Roberson was transported to San Francisco County Jail and booked on two counts of attempted homicide and discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner.
