SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Local fashion designer Justin Haynes recently created a custom jacket featured on a national stage.
Longtime radio and TV personality Kelly Ripa donned a jacket designed by Haynes during Tuesday's episode of ABC's LIVE with Kelly and Mark.
Ripa, a fan, called Haynes “a gift” and encouraged viewers to Google his work and learn more about his talent. “He brings me this jacket that fits me perfectly," said Ripa. "You are so talented—you are just a gift.” Her husband and co-host Mark Consuelos jokingly thanked Haynes, saying he appreciated not having to buy the jacket himself.
Haynes, a Springfield native and founder of Jus10H and ONYX Inc., has become a global sensation with collections featured at prestigious events like Milan Fashion Week, Dubai Fashion Week, and Asia Fashion Week. Known for blending classic elegance with modern vibrancy, Haynes’ designs have captivated audiences worldwide.
He has become the first local designer to showcase at Paris Fashion Week, New York Fashion Weekand, LA Fashion Week, and Miami Fashion Week, and dress stars like Disney’s 'Raven’s Home' actress Briana Roy. He also partnered with Ruth Carter, a fellow Springfield native and Academy Award-winning costume designer, to inspire the next generation of creators.
Kelly Ripa’s praise for Haynes’ jacket adds another milestone to his career, as he continues to put Springfield on the global fashion map. Fans of Haynes can explore more of his work through his website and social media platforms.
