GALLUP, N.M. (KRQE) – Gallup Police are searching for a man who was allegedly involved in a shooting on Sunday. Police responded to the intersection of Patton and Aztec Avenue and found the victim was shot in the leg. Man sentenced for driving drunk into Albuquerque home, killing 74-year-old Gallup Police Detectives identified German Giovanni Martinez as the shooter. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and other related offenses. Police said Martinez is known to carry firearms and should be considered armed and dangerous.
