ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Now open on Park Avenue in Rochester: The Bagel Shop by Fox's! It's at the corner of Park & Oxford, and is open Wednesdays through Sundays. 2024 has been a banner year for the Brighton-based business. The deli was awarded a state senate recognition for its history as a Jewish deli in the Rochester area. Fox's also opened a pop-up shop in the JCC of Greater Rochester. At this new Park Avenue location, the team serves up their iconic bagels, boiled in a malt brew and baked in a pizza oven. Fox’s Deli nominated as historic business Owner Alex Rhinewald — and his brother and business partner Jason — are excited to be in a new neighborhood. "Lots of walk-up traffic, which is something we don't get a lot at Fox's, it's more of a destination," Alex said. "So to have a place people can walk in and grab something really quick — like a bagel and cream cheese or a bagel sandwich — was really attractive for us."
