What We’re Tracking Chilly Thanksgiving Day Cold weekend ahead Few snow showers on Saturday As the rain continues to move out of northeast Kansas, temperatures will fall into the mid-20s. We will hang onto a fair amount of clouds over night with a gradual clearing by early morning. Winds will be from the northwest and could gust up to 25 mph. Today's system brought a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s. By Friday morning, low could drop into the upper teens, definitely a cold one for those planning on Black Friday shopping! Another quick-passing system could bring a few snow showers to the area on Saturday. Right now, the best chance for that will over our northern and northeastern counties.
