Winter weather advisory for New York for Thursday

On Wednesday at 3:12 p.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Thursday between midnight and 10 p.m. for Oneida, Tompkins, Madison and Cortland counties.The weather service describes, "Snow accumulations of up to 6 inches expected, especially in the higher elevations."
