ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Veterans and their families got a head start on Thanksgiving on Wednesday with a feast at the new Veterans Integration Center located at I-25 and Gibson. Organizers said the event was all about bringing a sense of home to veterans who rely on the center. "We try to give these guys everything that we possibly can, like whatever resources we can give them, we hold nothing back," said Daniel Fabrizio, VIC case manager. Fabrizio said the VIC is working on hosting another event in December, but veterans are welcome to come by for assistance anytime.
