Basin Recreation will hold a ribbon cutting celebration for the new Lower Run-A-Muk Trailhead.The trailhead features a restroom, 30 parking stalls and the brand-new Pawmaste Trail, which is a 0.4-mile path that connects to the existing Run-A-Muk trail system. Dogs are welcome. Basin Recreation will provide info about the project and complimentary snacks and refreshments.Run-A-Muk is a recreational open space area that is co-owned by Basin Recreation and Summit County and that attracts over 200,000 users per year. Basin Recreation said the project helps address an identified need for trailhead access with restrooms located in non-residential areas.
