RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Following a fire that broke out at a Richmond bakery on Sunday morning, the business posted an update to its Instagram about the damage and its rebuilding timeline.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, Sub Rosa Bakery posted a message to its Instagram regarding the fire that broke out on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24 that caused them to close their business.
According to the bakery, the "precise cause" of the fire is not currently known but "the fire lieutenant inspector noted that the nature of the fire was accidental and appeared to originate around the chimney of our oven, spreading to the attic."

The bakery also said that it will be several months before it can reopen, adding that "most of the damage looks to be to the roof above the bakery/apartment on the north side of the building."
