(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said it has arrested a person on second degree murder charges after police responded to a death on Sunday, Nov. 24 on Pueblo's northwest side. According to PPD, officers responded shortly after 5 p.m. on Sunday to a report of a deceased man in the 3100 block of Bonaventure Court, off of Pueblo Boulevard and West 31st Street. When officers arrived, they requested the PPD Special Victims Unit. A suspect was interviewed and arrested on charges of second degree murder, though the suspect's name has not been released. The victim will be identified by the Pueblo Count Coroner. This is the 18th homicide in Pueblo in 2024. The investigation is active and ongoing, PPD said.
