CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 78th annual Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade returns to Uptown Charlotte to kick off the holiday season. Event organizers are expecting over 100,000 participants. The parade rolls down North Tryon Street, beginning at 6 p.m. through 8 p.m. THANKSGIVING EVE PARADE ROUTE The parade steps off at 6 p.m. on North Tryon Street at 9th Street. The parade will continue on North Tryon Street and end at Brooklyn Village Avenue. The parade is a free event. Those without VIP tickets are encouraged to watch along Tryon Street between 9th Street and Brooklyn Village Avenue ROAD CLOSURES Below are the roads closed Wednesday evening for the parade: Tryon Street between 9th Street and Morehead Street 3rd through 8th Street between College Street and Church Street Trade Street between College Street and Church Street Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard between College Street and Church Street Levine Avenue of the Arts Brooklyn Village Avenue between College Street and Church Street Good Samaritan Way between College Street and Church Street All roads will be closed until at least 11:30 p.m.
