BAKERSFIELD, Calif (KGET) -- A man was pronounced dead after a tree limb fell on him as he was trimming it, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office. The coroner's office identified the man as David Clark Feltner, 60, of Caliente. RELATED: Resident says Borel Fire cleanup efforts have turned tragic Officials said the incident happened on Nov. 20 in the 6900 block of Caliente Bodfish Road. Feltner was pronounced dead at the scene. A neighbor told 17's Rob Hagan, Feltner had offered to cut down a damaged tree when the limb fell on him.
