BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Cal State Bakersfield President issued a statement to undocumented students following the recent presidential election. CSUB President Vernon B. Harper Jr. issued the statement following President-elect Donald Trump's threat to deport millions of undocumented immigrants. BPD asks for help finding family of shooting victim Harper said students, faculty and staff, especially those from historically marginalized groups, have a sense of despair and dread. He promised to hold a listening session available to undocumented students and assure those students the university will never ask for immigration documents before offering help, support and resources.
