(KRON) -- A fatal pedestrian-involved traffic collision closed multiple lanes of southbound Interstate 680 in San Ramon on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred south of Crow Canyon Road just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.
All lanes in the southbound direction were shut down at one point before the roadway fully reopened at 6:36 a.m.

A coroner was called to the scene at 5:06 a.m. Further details of the fatal crash were not immediately available.
Motorists were advised to use alternative routes and expect delays.
