SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Leilani Simon, convicted last month of murdering her toddler son Quinton, has been booked into Georgia's largest state women's prison. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections website, Simon is incarcerated at Lee Arrendale State Prison. A new mugshot of Simon was posted on the site. Earlier this week, Simon's attorneys filed a motion for a new trial after she received a life sentence with the possibility of parole, plus 10 years. Prosecutors said Simon killed Quinton and threw his body in a dumpster in October 2022.
