Fall River CAST team arrest man on gun, drug charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 22-year-old was taken into custody today after Fall River’s Community Action and Suppression Team executed a search warrant at an apartment with “numerous community concerns and complaints.”
According to Fall River Police, a search warrant was executed at 189 Middle Street in Fall River.
Police said the subject of the search warrant was Anthony Kidd.
The following items were located inside of the residence:
Smith and Wesson .22 caliber rifle
FN509 9 mm handgun.
Approximately 63.94 grams of suspected fentanyl
Approximately 28.67 grams of suspected crack cocaine
Approximately 48.46 grams of suspected methamphetamine
Approximately 30 grams of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms.
$10,054.00 U.S. currency
Kidd was placed under arrest and charged with numerous charges including trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm without license-to-carry, and unlawful possession of a large capacity firearm.
