14 crashes reported on RI highways overnight

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Wednesday is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and multiple crashes occurred overnight across Rhode Island.
Rhode Island State Police Lt. Col. Robert Creamer told 12 News they responded to 14 crashes. No serious injuries were reported.
According to the Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT), two of the major crashes happened in Warwick.
RIDOT said all travel lanes were blocked on I-295 South, but have all since reopened.

Just minutes away from T.F. Green International Airport, crashes were reported on both sides of I-95 near Route 117.
There were also trouble spots headed to Boston.
Black ice was possible this morning in areas north and west of Providence. It's unclear if that caused the crashes.
