TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — There was a heavy police presence Wednesday morning at a multi-family home on Hodges Avenue in Taunton. Police said they have a suspect in custody and assured there is no threat to the public. ALSO READ: Man shot in Taunton A person who lives in the house told 12 News he heard a commotion on another floor around 9 a.m. He said it appeared to be a domestic disturbance. The resident called police and later heard gunshots. Police said the incident remains under investigation. 12 News is working to gather more information. Check back for updates.
