NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Warm conditions continue across the area for this travel Wednesday with temperatures topping out in the mid to upper 70s. Look for some breezy conditions with winds out of the southwest at 10-15 by the afternoon. Some patchy morning fog will burn off by mid-morning. We have a big cold front moving in on Thanksgiving. This will bring a small amount of rain to the area as it moves through. Look for showers and a few storms to move across the area through early afternoon Thursday. Temperatures will begin to fall by mid to late afternoon. Expect low 70s for highs early in the day. By Friday much cooler weather moves in. Highs will only top out in the 50s. We will see lows in the 40s around the area Friday morning but down in the 30s and 40s by Saturday morning. Expect dry and cool conditions to continue through the weekend.
