CHILTON, Wis. (WFRV) - Volunteers from the Chilton area are all set to gather this Thanksgiving morning to package and deliver meals for those in need throughout the Calumet, Manitowoc Counties, and beyond. The 41st annual Chilton Thanksgiving Day Express is set to package meals this Thanksgiving morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is expected to deliver more than 400 meals to needy individuals, families, and the elderly this Thursday. WFRV’s 2024 Season of Volunteering Special Since its inception, Thanksgiving Day Express has delivered more than 16,000 meals, part of its mission to "Deliver a hot meal and a kind word." Volunteers will be gathering at Chilton Eagles Hall on East Chestnut Street. Deliveries begin around 10:15 a.m.
