    KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Skeletal remains were found in a wood area while children were playing, say Kershaw County deputies. Just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov.26, deputies say children playing in the woods found skeletal remains in a wooded area off East York Street in Camden. KCSO deputies, Camden Police Department, and the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office responded and confirmed the remains were from a human. The sheriff’s office says the identity of the remains are unknown at this time, and there was no apparent cause of death or length of time from death determined at the scene. A SC State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) crime scene unit was called to process the scene. Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate the case.
