5 hospitalized after I35 rollover crash late Tuesday

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Five people were hospitalized following a rollover crash along North Interstate 35's southbound lanes late Tuesday night, Austin-Travis County EMS said.
Both ATCEMS and the Austin Police Department responded to the crash, which happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday. ATCEMS said one vehicle rolled over, leading to two patients being ejected.
Medics transported four patients to Dell Seton Medical Center. Those included one adult and one teenager with potentially serious injuries, one adult with serious injuries and one adult with minor injuries.
ATCEMS transported a teenager who was ejected from the vehicle to Dell Children's Medical Center. That teenager had critical, life-threatening injuries, medics said.
Police said the rollover crash resulted in the interstate being shut down between the Sixth Street on-ramp and East Riverside Drive. The roadway was closed for roughly three hours overnight.
