PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Firefighters said a man was taken to the hospital after a house caught fire in Prince George's County early Wednesday morning. The Prince George's County Fire Department (PGFD) said that just before 2 a.m., crews were called to a two-story single-family home in the 10200 block of Riggs Road in Adelphia. ‘FCPS failed to protect its student-athletes’: 3 FCPS School Board Members outline next steps to address the Hayfield ‘football situation’ When the firefighters arrived at the house, they noticed smoke coming from the front. Medics took a man to the hospital in critical condition. The fire was extinguished and investigators are working to learn what caused the fire to start.
