(KRON) -- All southbound lanes of Interstate 680 were blocked in San Jose on Tuesday night. One lane has since opened. According to California Highway Patrol's traffic log, the closures are due to a fatal crash. The crash happened at about 8:34 p.m. north of Berryessa Road. Traffic was being diverted onto Berryessa. No information is available yet as to how many people were killed or injured. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway. Drivers are told to find other routes. This is a developing story.
