WEATHER ALERT: Patchy black ice possible this morning on area roads. Please drive extra carefully.
Good morning! Please be aware that Tuesday's rain didn't completely evaporate, and with temperatures near or below freezing there could be some patchy black ice. Even your front steps could be icy. Also, allow yourself some extra time to scrape your windshields.

We'll have sunshine today with some extra clouds by late afternoon. We'll be dry today if you have run out to the market for some Thanksgiving dinner items.

Clouds will thicken through the night with the chance for rain showers possible toward dawn. Overnight lows will be in the 30s.
TOMORROW
Rain. That's it. Rain all day. Rain when the turkeys are going in the oven. Rain for the high school football games. Rain during Thanksgiving dinner. Rain will continue into the evening, possibly ending as a few wet snow flakes in northwest Rhode Island. Winds could gust to 25mph from the northeast through the day.

It'll be drier for Black Friday, but chilly. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40s.
