For this year’s Miami Art Week, there won’t be any shortage of art exhibitions throughout South Florida. El Espacio 23 (EE23) at 2270 NW 23rd St. debuts its highly anticipated fifth show, titled “Mirror of the Mind: Figuration in the Jorge M. Pérez Collection. The cross-media exhibition examines 150 works from over 120 artists who use figuration and portraiture to explore the complexities of the human condition. Details: https://elespacio23.org/. The Museum of Graffiti in Miami’s Wynwood Art District at 276 NW 26th St. marks its fifth anniversary with a three-day celebration presented in partnership with Rolling Loud. The Miami Design District presents six art exhibitions. Artist Austin Lee will present an ambitious curatorial project and mural in the Design District that fuses traditional painting with digital technologies.35 NE 40th St. The Trinity100 exhibition celebrates 100 years of Cartier’s iconic Trinity collection at 23 NE 41st St., offering visitors a journey through its history, from its 1924 creation by Louis Cartier to modern reinventions. The exhibition features five distinct spaces that tell the story of Trinity’s evolution. Following his debut exhibition in London, Saatchi Yates presents a solo exhibition of Slawn’s recent paintings at 70 NE 40th St. The artist is recognized for intersecting street art with Abstract Expressionist styles. At the Paradise Plaza & Paseo Ponti & Paradise Plaza, Nicole Nomsa Moyo’s “Pearl Jam” will be on display with an interactive installation of jewelry-themed experiences, including giant pearls, a deconstructable necklace, a sprawling bracelet, and radiant earrings. “Pearl Jam” is a contemporary tribute to Ndebele traditions, drawing on intricate patterns and bold colors to create a universal dialogue of creativity and identity. Gucci ushers in the festive season with a new installation at Sweet Bird North Plaza at 95 NE 40th St., unveiling a snow globe that embodies the joyful atmosphere of the holidays and pays tribute to Gucci’s history. DMINTI, in collaboration with the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA), unveil Laurie Simmons and Peter Wheelwright’s “The Kaleidoscope (…Bigger) House,” an immersive public installation. S-BRT Contemporary Art’s exhibition of European Art Composer Silke Bianca’s “Zen Garden Cycle” shows the one-of-a-kind work at 3921 NE Second Ave., bridging the gap between interior design and living art. The series of mixed art pieces highlights the Zen style through a new approach of modern analytical painting school: Art Composing. Art of Hip Hop at 99 NW 25th St, in Wynwood is hosting Cey Adams, Departure: 40 Years of Art and Design, a career-defining retrospective exhibition celebrating the artistic contributions of artist Cey Adams, presented by Spotify. The exhibition features more than 60 works across multiple mediums, including photography archives, mixed media collages, paintings, textiles, fashion, street art, and contemporary fine art. These pieces present a visual timeline of the artist’s artistic journey, spanning themes such as pop culture, race, gender relations, and community. The exhibition also includes a wall installation of more than 50 album covers that Adams created for major Hip Hop artists such as Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, The Notorious B.I.G., DMX, and Jay-Z.
