Fresno man to judge National Dog Show following Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Fresno man is going to be on national television this Thanksgiving after being chosen to judge the Best In Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center's National Dog Show.
Following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, George Milutinovich of Fresno will be on NBC selecting the Best in Show purebred from the final lineup of the seven group winners, including:
Sporting group
Hound group
Working group
Terrier group
Toy group
Non-sporting group
Herding group
Miscellaneous breeds
Born and raised in Fresno, Milutinovich has been involved in dog shows since he was 16 when he entered his Pug. He has also shown Bichon Frises, Smooth Fox Terriers, Italian Greyhounds, Pugs, Boxers, Russell Terriers and Cocker Spaniels. Several of his dogs have won Best in Show and group titles.
In addition to being an accomplished show dog handler, Milutinovich has been a dog show judge since 1999 when he was asked to judge at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.
The two-hour special will air at noon on NBC following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The competition was originally taped on Nov. 16.
