Nov 26, 2024
CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Black Friday is in three days, with many Americans looking to get a jump start on this year's holiday shopping.
The annual holiday, once known for its midnight door-buster deals, has now seen a shift towards more online sales in recent years.
Last year, consumers spent nearly $10 billion on Black Friday, according to Adobe Analytics. According to the National Retail Federation, more than 131 million people are expected to shop this Friday as the holiday season officially kicks off.
If you miss any of the deals this Black Friday, you will have another chance to save on Cyber Monday. Many companies like Amazon, BestBuy, and Target, save their best deals in honor of the biggest online shopping day of the year.
Analysts expect consumer spending to reach $11.6 billion — that's up 8.4% from 2021.
