NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person was injured in a crash involving a pedestrian on Colley Avenue in Norfolk Monday night, police said. Norfolk Police said a man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the car stayed at the scene. The call for the crash came in around 8:50 p.m. The latest incident involving a pedestrian or cyclist comes as local officials caution them to be mindful of traffic signals, using marked crosswalks and just to use extreme caution when crossing the road.
