Several Lowe’s Home Improvement stores across western North Carolina distributed free Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday for families impacted by Helene. Six stores gave out 500 family-style meals each. This will help feed approximately 12,000 people this Thanksgiving. Lowe’s released a statement saying in part, “we will continue to host events throughout the week with the goal of helping impacted restaurants and artisans.”
